Axe Throwing Venue Pricing and Packages Page: Make the Choice Clear
Build a clear venue pricing page for standard sessions, parties and corporate events, with honest pricing context and a clear booking or enquiry path.
Overview
Pricing is one of the first commercial questions a visitor asks. A useful page should answer it without hiding basic information or forcing every visitor into a contact form.
Start with the unit the customer pays for
Different venues use different pricing models. Some charge per person, some per lane, some by package, and some use a minimum spend.
State the unit beside every price. For example: per person, per lane, per session, or package starting price. The website should reflect the venue's real commercial model rather than copying a competitor.
Put duration beside price
A visitor cannot compare offers if the page shows price without time. Publish the session length beside the price when it is fixed.
Also state what the normal package includes when useful, such as coaching, reserved space or a private booking, but only when those items are genuinely part of the offer.
Separate standard sessions from group events
A clear page can use three sections:
Standard sessions
Show the normal duration, price, group range where applicable, and direct booking CTA.
Parties and celebrations
Show fixed packages when the venue actually offers them, including the booking method.
Corporate and large groups
Give a useful starting point or minimum where possible, then explain that final pricing may depend on confirmed event details.
This keeps a simple consumer booking from being confused with a complex group sale.
Explain what changes the price
When a price varies, explain the real factors. These may include group size, number of lanes, session length, private-space use, full-venue hire, or timing when the business actually uses different rates.
Avoid adding hypothetical variables merely to make the pricing page look detailed.
Give custom-event buyers a useful anchor
A custom quote can be necessary, but publishing no pricing context at all creates friction. A starting price, minimum spend, or normal range helps an organizer decide whether the venue is broadly within budget before they submit an enquiry.
Keep booking policy information close to the price
Important policy details may include payment timing, deposits, cancellation or rescheduling rules, minimum group size and other booking conditions that materially affect the purchase.
Publish only the venue's approved policy. Keep detailed legal terms in the appropriate policy document rather than improvising them on a marketing page.
Use consistent CTAs
A simple CTA system reduces confusion:
The visitor should know whether the click creates a booking or starts a conversation.
- Book now for standardized sessions;
- Book party for standardized event packages;
- Request event for custom corporate or large-group bookings.
Connect standard packages to real availability
If a package can be booked online, it should connect to genuine available times rather than a decorative calendar.
OneStudio's public feature set supports services, working hours, days off, staff/rooms/equipment resources, website booking and payments when enabled. It should not be described as a specialist venue-pricing or dynamic-pricing engine.
Keep payment wording accurate
When payments are enabled for a OneStudio project, payment status can remain connected to the booking and client record. The pricing page should still reflect the venue's actual policy for full payment, deposits or payment later.
Do not let the software wording create a policy the business does not use.
