Golf Club Fitting Online Booking: Fitter, Bay and Duration Rules

Build club-fitting booking around service duration, fitter eligibility, fitting-bay availability, work-calendar conflicts, payment state and reminders.

Overview

A golf fitting is not just an open calendar slot.

A valid appointment may require:

  • the right amount of time;
  • a qualified fitter;
  • a fitting bay;
  • a physical location;
  • no existing booking;
  • no protected busy time.

Start with service duration

Current fitting businesses commonly sell different durations for different services.

Examples in current SERPs range from around 30 minutes for short trials to 2-3+ hours for full-bag sessions.

Use the studio's real duration.

Add fitter eligibility

Not every fitter needs to be bookable for every service.

Examples:

Model only real rules.

  • master fitter handles full-bag sessions;
  • another fitter handles irons and wedges;
  • putter fitting is available only on specific days.

Protect the fitting bay

If two fitters share one fitting bay, both cannot sell the same hour.

The bay is a resource constraint.

Current OneStudio features verify schedules for staff, rooms or equipment when a project uses them.

Test the last-slot problem

Create:

Open booking in two browsers.

Only one booking should win the capacity.

  • one available fitter;
  • one bay;
  • one remaining 60-minute slot.

Test external busy time

Where Google Calendar is connected, create a deliberate work-calendar conflict.

Confirm the affected fitting time is not sold.

Test rescheduling

A correct reschedule should:

  • release the old fitter/bay capacity;
  • reserve the new capacity;
  • keep the client;
  • keep relevant payment context;
  • move the reminder workflow.

Should customers choose a fitter?

Should customers choose a bay?

Usually the customer cares about the fitting, not the resource. Test the actual allocation model before launch.

Can a fitting use both staff and room/equipment constraints?

Current OneStudio features support staff, rooms or equipment where configured. Test the exact project model.

Can OneStudio analyze launch-monitor data?

No.
