CASHPATH

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CashPath handles information associated with cashpath.org, including ordinary website activity, communications you send directly to CashPath, and the separate online loan request flow that continues through LeadsGate and participating providers.

CashPath is not a lender. Providers and other independent third parties involved in the request process may have their own privacy practices, notices, and legal obligations.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This policy applies to CashPath's website and to information handled by CashPath in connection with operating the site.

It does not replace the privacy notice of a participating provider, lender, network, or other independent service that receives information during the provider request or application process.

When you leave the CashPath-controlled portion of the experience or information is provided to an independent third party, that party's privacy notice may govern its use of the information.

Information generated through ordinary website use

Like most websites, operation of cashpath.org may generate technical information needed to deliver pages, maintain security, diagnose problems, and understand whether the site is functioning correctly.

Depending on the technology involved, this information may include network or IP-related information, browser and device characteristics, operating system information, timestamps, referring pages, requested URLs, and technical events associated with a visit.

Hosting, security, content-delivery, or infrastructure providers may process some of this information as part of providing their services.

This technical information is different from the information entered into a loan-request form.

Information you send directly to CashPath

If you contact CashPath at contact@cashpath.org, we may receive the information contained in your message, including your email address and anything you choose to write.

Use email for questions about CashPath, website content, technical problems, or privacy requests.

Please do not send your Social Security number, banking credentials, passwords, full loan application, or other highly sensitive financial information by email.

Questions about a specific provider account, repayment obligation, funding decision, or accepted financial agreement generally need to be directed to that provider.

Loan request information and the provider flow

CashPath uses a short request form to help begin the provider process.

The current short form may temporarily hold supported values such as your requested amount, email address, and the last four digits requested by the provider flow in browser memory.

The CashPath application backend is not designed to persist these short-form loan-request values.

Supported values are passed from the browser into the LeadsGate/provider flow. After information reaches LeadsGate, a participating provider, or another independent third party, that party may collect, use, retain, verify, disclose, or otherwise process information according to its own privacy notice and applicable obligations.

This distinction is important: CashPath's website interface begins the request, but CashPath does not control every system that may participate after the request continues.

How information may be used

Information handled directly by CashPath may be used to operate and maintain the website, protect the site from abuse, troubleshoot technical problems, respond to questions or privacy requests, maintain the provider integration, and understand whether public pages are functioning as intended.

Ordinary technical records may also be processed by hosting, infrastructure, security, or related service providers as necessary to operate the website.

CashPath does not use its own backend as a database for storing the short-form loan-request values described above.

Analytics and measurement

CashPath may use website measurement tools as part of operating and evaluating public pages when those tools are configured.

The loan-request values entered into the CashPath short form are not intended to be sent by CashPath to analytics tools.

Website analytics, if enabled, should remain separate from application information such as email addresses or SSN-related values.

Third-party services involved in the provider flow may operate their own measurement, fraud-prevention, attribution, or tracking technologies under their own terms and privacy practices.

Cookies and similar technologies

Websites and third-party services may use cookies, browser storage, request identifiers, or similar technologies for functions such as security, session handling, performance, analytics, or provider integration.

The CashPath short-form implementation is not designed to place the applicant's email address or last-four-SSN value into localStorage, sessionStorage, or the page URL.

A third-party service reached through the provider flow may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Those technologies are controlled by that service rather than by this Privacy Policy.

Sharing with service providers and participating providers

CashPath may rely on independent companies to provide hosting, infrastructure, security, website functionality, referral technology, and the participating-provider request flow.

Information needed to continue the request may be provided to the services responsible for that flow.

A participating provider may then evaluate information under its own eligibility, verification, underwriting, fraud-prevention, and compliance processes.

CashPath does not control a provider's independent decision about what information it needs or how long it must retain information.

Retention

CashPath retains information only according to the systems and purposes for which it is handled.

The CashPath application backend is not designed to retain the short-form loan-request values after they are handed into the third-party provider flow.

Ordinary website technical records, security information, or communications sent directly to CashPath may be retained for periods reasonably related to website operation, troubleshooting, security, responding to requests, or applicable obligations.

Independent providers and third-party services determine their own retention practices.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or particular opt-out choices.

CashPath does not assume that the same rights apply in every jurisdiction.

To submit a CashPath-related privacy request, email contact@cashpath.org.

We may need enough information to understand the request and reasonably verify that it concerns you. Do not send an SSN or sensitive loan application information merely to verify a privacy request.

See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information for additional information about available request options where applicable.

Information controlled by participating providers

CashPath cannot delete, correct, retrieve, or otherwise control information that is held solely by an independent participating provider or another third party.

If your request concerns an application, account, transaction, or information maintained by a specific provider, you may need to contact that provider directly.

The provider's privacy notice should explain how to submit a request concerning information it controls.

Security

CashPath uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the website and services it operates.

However, no internet transmission, browser, website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Be cautious about sending sensitive information through ordinary email and verify the identity of any company requesting financial or identity information.

External websites and services

CashPath pages may link to or interact with independent third-party services.

Their privacy practices may differ from ours. A link or integration does not mean CashPath controls that third party's privacy practices.

Review the privacy notice presented by the relevant provider or service before supplying information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

CashPath may update this Privacy Policy as the website, provider integrations, business practices, or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date when appropriate.
